PURPOSE: A microbial fuel cell structure is provided to improve the effective area of an electrode contacting contacts with fuel and air and to increase the processing speed of effluent and generated amount of electricity generation amount. CONSTITUTION: A microbial fuel cell structure comprises unit cells arranged at on the sides of each prism. The unit cell includes: a membrane-electrode assembly(20) sequentially equipped with a first electrode, an ion-exchange membrane(24), and a second electrode in order; and a holder(10) which accepts the membrane electrode assembly and exposes to which the first and second electrodes are exposed.
