A curved surface liquid crystal display panel and a curved surface liquid crystal display device, the curved surface liquid crystal display panel comprising: two substrates (110, 120) curving towards the same direction, liquid crystals being filled therebetween to form a curved liquid crystal layer (200); a transparent layer (310, 320) covering the outer panel surface of the glass of at least one substrate (110, 120), and the stress optics coefficients of the glass and the transparent layers (310, 320) of the substrate on the same side of the liquid crystal layer (200) have opposite (positive and negative) values; the outer panel surface of the glass of the substrate (110, 120) is the panel surface of the glass of the substrates distal from the liquid crystal. The curved surface liquid crystal display device comprises the curved surface liquid crystal display panel. The glass and the transparent layer (310, 320) of the substrate on the same side of the liquid crystal layer (200) have opposite optical rotation effects, their optical retardation offsetting each other. The curved surface liquid crystal display panel and the curved surface liquid crystal display device have a greatly improved display effect. |
