Disclosed are a solar cell and a manufacturing method therefor. The manufacturing method comprises the following steps: forming a first electrode layer (2) on a substrate (1); forming a first conductive-type semiconductor film thin (3) on the first electrode layer (2); forming a germanium thin film on the first conductive-type semiconductor thin film (3), and topologizing the germanium thin film through functional elements, so as to acquire a second conductive-type semiconductor thin film (4) with a topological insulator characteristic, the first conductive-type semiconductor thin film (3) being matched with the second conductive-type semiconductor thin film (4) with a topological insulator characteristic so as to form a p-n junction; and forming a second electrode layer (5) on the second conductive-type semiconductor thin film (4). The solar cell manufactured by the manufacturing method has high electrical energy conversion efficiency.
