PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a carbon catalyst that reduces environmental load and achieves high catalyst activity.SOLUTION: The method includes the steps of heating protein, mixing the heated protein with a metal compound, crushing the mixture, and thereafter, carbonizing the mixture, where iron or cobalt is used as a metal constituting the metal compound, to produce a carbon catalyst.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
