PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for an acoustic wave probe, which can give a silicone resin having high resin hardness and tear strength and a low compression set while maintaining high sensitivity to acoustic waves, and capable of improving sensitivity, and a silicone resin for an acoustic wave probe, an acoustic wave probe, an acoustic wave measurement device, an ultrasonic diagnosis device, a photoacoustic wave measurement device and an ultrasonic endoscope using the above composition.SOLUTION: The composition for an acoustic wave probe contains at least, in total 100 pts.mass of a polysiloxane mixture, 10 to 99.4 pts.mass of a polysiloxane having a vinyl group at a molecular chain terminal, 0.5 to 90 pts.mass of a polysiloxane having two or more Si-H groups in a molecular chain, 0.1 to 50 pts.mass of a polysiloxane resin, and 0.001 to 5 pts.mass of a siloxane compound. The present invention also discloses a silicone resin for an acoustic wave probe, an acoustic wave probe, an acoustic wave measurement device, an ultrasonic diagnosis device, an ultrasonic probe, a photoacoustic wave measurement device, and an ultrasonic endoscope.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
