1. A turbine engine system, comprising:
an inlet particle separator having an inlet receiving an inlet fluid flow, a clean outlet receiving a first flow of substantially clean fluid, and a scavenge outlet receiving a second flow of scavenge fluid; a fluid pump in fluid communication with the scavenge outlet; an air flow control device regulating the flow of scavenge fluid through the fluid pump; and a controller coupled with the air flow control device for selectively adjusting the flow of scavenge fluid through the fluid pump.
