1. A process of making a high quality fracturing fluid, comprising:
(a) providing a first stream comprising liquid CO2; (b) forming a second stream comprising water and other additives and raising its pressure to that required for a fracturing operation; (c) adding proppant only to the first stream comprising liquid CO2 up to a concentration of 20 lbs/gal, and raising its pressure to that required for a fracturing operation; (d) admixing the pressurized first and second streams including the proppant of step (c), forming a high quality fracturing fluid having a Mitchell quality of at least 50%, and a slurry quality less than 95%.
