PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform rope breaking diagnosis at short time through remote operation, without the need of carrying a breakage diagnosis tool.SOLUTION: A lifting machine 10 having a breakage diagnosis tool comprises: a lifting machine 11; an additional sheave 12; a breaking diagnosis tool 20 disposed on at least one of the lifting machine 11 and the additional sheave 12, and diagnosing breakage of a main rope 14; and a control part 13 for controlling drive of the lifting machine 11 and the breakage diagnosis tool 20. The breakage diagnosis tool 20 includes: a magnetic body 21 which comes in contact with the main rope 14; a magnetization part 22 for magnetizing the magnetic body 21; and a detection part 23 for detecting a leakage magnetic flux of magnetic flux generated on the main rope 14 for diagnosing breaking of the main rope 14, and sending a detection signal to the control part 13. At least the magnetic body 21 on the breaking diagnosis tool 20 is incorporated in the drive sheave 16 or the additional sheave 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
