PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the fall-off of a rocker arm from a valve stem without using an externally fitting member such as a clip.SOLUTION: A rocker arm 10 has a rocking center part 13 at one end for abutting on a supporting member and a valve thrust part 14 at the other end for abutting on a top 73 of a valve stem 71, and a cam abutting part between the valve thrust part 14 and the rocking center part 13 for abutting on a cam 81. The valve thrust part 14 has a hole 17 opened in the face where the valve stem 71 is located. To the top 73 of the valve stem 71, a shaft member 50 is fixed in a rising state. A rising part 52 of the shaft member 50 is inserted into the hole 17 and engaged with the valve thrust part 14 to restrict the fall-off of the rocker arm 10 from the valve stem 71.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
