PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a high magnet torque without increasing an inside diameter of a rotor core more than necessary as well as reductions in the weight and size of a generator.SOLUTION: A rotor 12 of rotary electric machine according to one embodiment is arranged with permanent magnets 10a, 10b magnetized in rotor radial direction on a rotor core surface and a plurality of permanent magnets 14a, 14b, 14c which are magnetized at positions facing the permanent magnets 10a, 10b in the same polarity direction as that of the permanent magnets 10a, 10b and which form a substantially U-shaped shape inside the rotor core.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
