PURPOSE: A red dyes compound containing water soluble perylene unit, a method for producing the same, and an ink composition and a color filter using the same are provided to reduce the amount of a dye due to high solubility and color value, and to increase heat resistance, storage stability and solubility. CONSTITUTION: A red dyes compound contains a water soluble perylene unit represented by chemical formula 1, wherein R1 and R2 are independently nitrogen, phosphorus, oxygen, and sulfur-atom; R3, R4, R5 and R 6 are independently hydrogen atom, halogen atom, and SO3M; and R7 and R8 are independently an aryl group with 1 - 5 halogen atoms, an aryl group with 1 - 3 SO3M groups, a naphthalene group with 1 - 3 SO3M groups, an alkyl group with 1 - 21 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group with 2 - 21 carbon atoms, an aryl group with 6 - 21 carbon atoms, an aralkyl group with 7 - 21 carbon atoms, and an ether group. |
