<p>PURPOSE: The method is to provide prefabricated construction members of industrial waste materials which are recycled for use and are chemically and mechanically stable in water and in soil underwater to be free of pollution. CONSTITUTION: Waste material 50-100 wt.%, supplement material 0-50%, plastic component 0-15%, and hardener 0-5% are to be kneaded in admixture and molded under pressure into a form to be calcined at 700-1000°C.C.C and sintered at 1000-13000°C.C.C for 10-30 hours into blocks for use of constructing artificial reef for fish breeding. The waste material is one or more kinds selected from red mud from the refining process of aluminum hydroxide, slag from blast furnace, mine sludge, crushed glass pieces, stone powder from quarry, sewage sludge, incinerator ash, pulp sludge, coal mine side products. The blocks produced in the same process as in sintering of ceramics are stable chemically in seawater and have affinity for the water to be free of pollution for fish breeding.</p> |
