PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake device for internal combustion engine having a fuel control valve having a shape capable of effectively forming a tumble flow in a combustion chamber when a protruding part is present in an intake pipe on the downstream side of an intake flow control valve. SOLUTION: This device comprises the intake flow control valve 29 for generating the tumble flow in the combustion chamber between a throttle valve in the intake pipe and a fuel injection device on the downstream side thereof. The valve shape of this control valve 29 is formed so that the formed air flow flows to avoid the intake pipe internal protruding part present in the lower stream.
