PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a volute pump miniaturized in the axial volute direction thereof and capable of enlarging the degree of freedom of a location space. SOLUTION: A pump case body 101 pivotally supports a pump driving shaft 104, and a partitioning member 109 is arranged between the pump case body 101 and a cover body 102, and the pump case body 101 and the partitioning member 109 form a pump chamber 121. The pump driving shaft 104 is provided with several vanes 106, and these vanes 106 are housed in the pump chamber 121. The partitioning member 109 and the cover body 102 form a fluid lead-in chamber 110, and a fluid lead-in passage 117 for leading the fluid from the fluid lead-in chamber 110 to a fluid lead-in part 115 of the pump chamber 121 is provided in the partitioning member 109. Desirably, the fluid is led into the fluid lead-in chamber 110 from outside through the fluid lead-in port 111 provided in the pump case body 101.
