PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing method for a coating hanger capable of outstandingly reducing the number of processes as compared with a conventional washing step and efficiently washing the coating hanger by an environmentally excellent method. SOLUTION: In the washing method, when the hanger 2 is used for hanging the object 3 to be coated in the coating step and conveying the object 3 to be coated by a conveying conveyor 1, the hanger 2 is washed by applying blast treatment without removing the hanger 2 from the conveyor 1.
