A method for the assessment of the efficacy of the conduction anesthesia in the lower limb provides for measuring the skin temperature in the distal areas of the limb using the infrared thermometer Nimbus-530 prior to the conduction anesthesia and in 5, 10 and 15 minutes after the conduction anesthesia. The increase of the temperature by 2 °C in 5 minutes indicated the success of the blockade. |
