<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silicone rubber composition suppressed in foaming even if undergoing a hot-air vulcanization at ordinary pressure using wet silica and excellent in electrical properties including electrical insulation. <P>SOLUTION: This silicone rubber composition comprises (A) 100 pts. mass of an organopolysiloxane with a polymerization degree of 100 or higher and having in the molecule at least two alkenyl groups bound to a silicon atom, (B) 3-100 pts. mass of wet silica and (C) an effective amount of a curing agent, wherein the wet silica has a specific surface area(BET) of≥50 m<SP>2</SP>/g, the ratio of specific surface area(BET method)/specific surface area(CTAB method) of 1.0-1.3 and the moisture content of≤4%. The silicone rubber composition is suppressed in foaming even if undergoing the hot-air vulcanization at ordinary pressure using the wet silica and yields a silicone rubber excellent in electrical properties including electrical insulation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
