<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector-integrated cable that can easily cope with various combinations of on-vehicle electronic apparatuses, depending on vehicle types and vehicle rankings and can easily be wired. <P>SOLUTION: A communication circuit 7 is incorporated to each of connectors 3, 5 connected to both ends of a cable body 1, and the communication circuit 7 has the function of controlling a data link layer of the OSI basic reference model, as well as a physical layer of the model. A network can be easily configured, by having only to connect each of the connectors 3, 5 to various on-vehicle electronic apparatuses and an in-vehicle network, such as an in-vehicle LAN, and in the case of transmitting/receiving data between the applications of a plurality of the on-vehicle electronic apparatuses, the data communication can be carried out without hindrance and the on-vehicle network can be built up easily. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
