<p>A small-scale waste water treatment plant consists of a pre-fabricated container (1) holding a pre-planted reed bed. The reed bed has a water inlet (6) for incoming effluent water and an outlet (13) for treated water. The container is especially fitted out with the major components at the factory and is supplied ready for installation. The plant bed (3) and reeds (11) are placed in position on delivery. The inlet holding tank and outlet tank rest on the same base (1) separated by the reed tank (3).</p> |
