METHOD FOR TREATING BENIGN IDIOPATHIC CYSTIC CHONDROMALACIA OF CONCHA

A method for treating the benign idiopathic cystic chondromalacia of the concha provides for evacuation of the fluid and the long-term compression of the concha. The cartilaginous posterior wall of the endochondral pseudocyst is dissected, and the blanket suture is applied for compressing the concha for 7-10 days. The antiseptic elastic pad is applied between the sutures and the skin. The pad is periodically moistened with antiseptic solution.
