PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack, enabling a charge/discharge system which can exhibit capability of each battery even in serial arrangement and never causes reduction in apparent capacity resulted from unbalance of batteries even in repeated charge/discharge. SOLUTION: The battery pack 101 comprises two sets or more of secondary batteries housed in a case, and external terminals 102 of positive electrode and negative electrode corresponding to each set of secondary batteries, each outside terminal being independently electrically connected to the positive electrode or negative electrode of the corresponding secondary batteries in figure 2. Each set of secondary batteries 103 stored in the battery pack comprises a plurality of flat secondary batteries connected in parallel, the flat secondary batteries are stacked adjacently to flat secondary batteries constituting secondary batteries of the other set so that the flat secondary batteries constituting the secondary batteries in the same set are not mutually adjacent.
