PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner capable of stabilizing the direction of a suction port body during the normal use of using the suction port body in the state that the width direction of the suction port body is longer than the front/back direction in the suction port body which can be turned so as to turn the width direction to the front/back direction. SOLUTION: The suction port body 200 has: a suction port body body 300 whose length in the front/back direction is shorter than that in the width direction; a base part 400 connected on the suction port body main body 300 to be freely turned in a horizontal direction; first connection pipes 600 and 700 connected to the base part 400 to be freely turned in a vertical direction; and a second connection pipe 800 connected to a first connection pipe to be freely turned in the vertical direction and connected to an extension pipe at the rear end part. The suction port body body 300 includes a pair of engaging parts 391 positioned on both sides of the first connection pipe and engaged with the first connection pipe to regulate the turning of the base part 400, and the engaging parts 391 are configured to such a height that they are disengaged from the first connection pipe by turning the first connection pipe in an upper direction.
