PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent air in a container of a pump type product expanded due to a variation of surrounding temperature from pressurizing content in it and further prevent the pressurized content from being leaked out in liquid form of a discharging port through its original discharging passage while releasing an upper valve and a lower valve. SOLUTION: An abutting portion between a piston 3 and a member 10 for setting an upward moving position of the piston has an opening part 10b in such a way that, under a standstill mode where the piston 3 and the member 10 are abutted to each other, air expanded in a container can escape into the external space through the abutted portion and an air flowing-in or flowing-out passage 11. Since the opening part and its inlet side passage region are set to such a size as to enable also the content to pass through them, it is possible to restrict a degree of the expanded air in the container for pressurizing the content to a low level, and the upper valve and the lower valve are not released to open even if a closed state of the lower valve (an upstream side valve) is not forcedly maintained by arranging a resilient member at the lower valve.
