PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of detecting the facility environmental requirement necessary for satisfying its plan for a simulated train diagram simulating the imaginary train operation. SOLUTION: A system for detecting the environmental requirement of the railroad vehicle facility comprises a simulated train diagram registration means 12, a minimum traveling time/minimum time interval calculation means 13, a vehicle characteristic information/line condition information registration means 15, and a required vehicle characteristic/trouble line condition calculation means 14. The minimum traveling time, the vehicle characteristic to satisfy the minimum interval or the line condition to be calculated from a simulated train diagram can be detected on the assumed present line condition or the present train characteristic.
