PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aldehydes scavenger which can reduce a decrease in the bending strength of a wood plate manufactured using an unexpectedly solid-state scavenger which can be added to a wood material before a heat-impressing process or a binding agent and which has an excellent external appearance. SOLUTION: It is the most important feature to contain an aldehyde class scavenging compound which is powder at a normal temperature and solid at one kind or more normal temperatures and one kind or more wood powder.
