<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet discharge apparatus capable of improving evenness of film thickness and suppressing the amount of a thin film material used, and a liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: A discharge head 16 has a row of nozzles NR in a sub-scanning direction (+Y direction) and a plate-like sliding member 20 extended to a substrate S in the main scanning direction (+X direction) of the row of nozzle NR.
