PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for supplying power stably when a capacitor is employed in the power supply. SOLUTION: The power supply unit 1 is arranged to supply power through an electric double-layer capacitor 30 and comprises a means 40 for detecting the temperature of the electric double-layer capacitor 30, a heater 50 for heating the electric double-layer capacitor 30, and a means 60 for controlling the heating temperature of the heater 50 based on a temperature detection signal from the temperature detection means 40.
