<p>A method for processing an uplink signal in an OFDM communication system is provided to improve communication quality by preventing the overlap of the noise included in each signal when combining a plurality of uplink signals received through a plurality of relays and an antenna of a base station. A first uplink signal transmitted from a first terminal group within a service area of a base station is received through an antenna of the base station(302). A plurality of second uplink signals transmitted from a plurality of second terminal groups positioned within the service area of the plurality of relays are received through the plurality of relays(304). The first uplink signal and the plurality of uplink signals are fast Fourier Transformed and become the plurality of baseband signals(306). The noise in a section without an effective signal is removed in each baseband signal(308). The plurality of baseband signals without the noise are coupled(312).</p> |
