PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag which can make an airbag main body part effectively intrude into a clearance between a head of an occupant and a widow part, and can secure protection performance.SOLUTION: An airbag main body part 33 comprises a second expansion part 55 which expands at a position opposing a center pillar 22. The airbag main body part 33 comprises a third expansion part 56 which expands at a position opposing a widow part 18. The airbag main body part 33 comprises a third partition joining part 63 which partitions the expansion parts 55, 56 by joining base fabrics, and regulates an expansion amount of an upper part 56a of the third expansion part 56 into a cabin to a value smaller than that of a lower part 56b. The vicinity of the third partition joining part 63 is regulated in the expansion of the airbag main body part 33, and can effectively intrude into a clearance between a head of an occupant and the window part from a folded state. In the third expansion part 56, the lower part 56b whose expansion amount into the cabin is relatively large abuts on the center pillar 22 in an initial stage, tension is thus generated, and protection performance can be secured.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
