PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly convenient information processing system capable of utilizing respective display devices of an information processing device and a portable terminal.SOLUTION: An image formation device 101 and a portable terminal 201 perform operations by cooperation in an image formation system 901. In the system, switching is automatically performed concerning which one of the image formation device 101 and the portable terminal 201 is defined as a "master" device and which one of them is defined as a "slave" device. The image formation device 101 functions as a cooperation management device so as to detect at least one of an operation by a user performed with respect to the image formation device 101 and an operation by a user performed with respect to the portable terminal 201 and to define one of the image formation device 101 and the portable terminal 201 as a master device and the other one as a slave device in accordance with detected contents. The respective display contents of display panels 112, 212 are switched in response to whether the image formation device 101 is defined as a master device or the portable terminal 201 is defined as a master device.
