PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor for managing a parameter to be set in an image forming apparatus not for each sheet but for each sheet category, and for transmitting the parameter to the image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: Reception means of an information processor receives information on a sheet from an image forming apparatus which forms an image on the sheet. Determination means determines whether or not a category corresponding to information on the sheet received by the reception means is present in sheet category storage means which stores the correspondence of the information on the sheet and the category showing the type of the sheet to determine whether or not the sheet belongs to the category. When it is determined that the sheet belongs to the category by the determination means, extraction means extracts the range and the parameter to form the image on the sheet which belongs to the category from category parameter storage means in which categories and parameters are stored in association. Transmission means transmits the category and parameter extracted by the extraction means to the image forming apparatus. |
