The present invention addresses the problem of providing a speaker capable of suppressing variation in a voltage applied to an overlapping portion. A speaker (1) is provided with: a circuit unit (5); a pair of front and rear vibration units (2, 3), each vibration unit comprising a dielectric layer (20, 30) having insulating properties and made from elastomer or resin, a pair of electrode layers (21, 22, 31, 32) which are disposed on both the front and rear sides of the dielectric layer (20, 30), have conductivity, and have connecting portions (210, 220, 310, 320) electrically connected to the circuit unit (5), and overlapping portions (A, B) whereat, when seen from the front or rear thereof, the pair of electrode layers (21, 22, 31, 32) overlaps with the dielectric layer (20, 30); an intermediary material (4) disposed between the pair of front and rear vibration units (2, 3) so that the front vibration unit (2) protrudes on the front side and the rear vibration unit (3) protrudes on the rear side; and resistance adjustment units (70 to 73) that suppress electrical resistance between the connecting portions (210, 220, 310, 320) and the overlapping portions (A, B). |
