PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tapered roller bearing that can be miniaturized while securing a load capacity of a bearing, and enables rotational torque of the bearing to be reduced.SOLUTION: A tapered roller bearing 30 is provided that comprises an inner ring 3 having a raceway surface 2, an outer ring 6 having a raceway surface 5 on its inner diameter surface 4, a plurality of tapered rollers 7 rollably arranged between the inner ring and the outer ring, and a cage 8 for holding the tapered rollers 7. In the tapered roller bearing, the cage includes a large diameter-side annular portion 11, a small diameter-side annular portion 10 and a cage bar portion 12 connecting the large diameter-side annular portion 11 and the small diameter-side annular portion 10, a rib portion 20 projecting in an inner diameter direction is provided only at a large diameter side of the inner diameter surface 4 of the outer ring, the cage bar portion 12 of the cage 8 is disposed at an inner diameter side with respect to an axial[ center L1 of the conical roller 7, and a circumferential inner rib portion 22 projecting to an inner diameter side and a circumferential outer rib portion 23 projecting to an outer diameter side are disposed on the small diameter-side annular portion 10 of the cage 8, so that contact of a planar inner diameter surface of the cage bar portion 12 of the cage 8 and the raceway surface 2 of the inner ring 3 can be prevented during rotation of the bearing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
