PURPOSE: A display device is provided to fix the distance between the outer-most dot and a scribe line, thereby lengthening the lifetime of the device. CONSTITUTION: A display unit includes a display area of a shape different from a square. The shape can be a circular, elliptical, or polygonal shape. A dot of a square shape is placed on the display area. The outer-most dot has a smaller size than the size of the dot placed on the central part of the display area when the outer-most dot satisfies a specific condition. |
