<p>Knee support device or prosthesis of the asymmetrical multicircumvolution type comprising at least one external articulation and one internal articulation disposed on either side of a front to back vertical plane, each including at least one proximal portion (7, 19) and at least one distal portion (1, 13) articulated to one another, first connecting means (25, 26) for connecting the proximal portions to distal portions and guiding means (4, 5, 10, 11, 16, 17, 22, 23) allowing the articulated portions to effect a different movement for each articulation. The articulated portions of each articulation have bearing surfaces with complex curves different from one another, whereby they are only in partial contact at at least three points.</p> |
