The layered system includes a magnetic layer arrangement on a substrate, which comprises at least one thin film of magnetic material, in which a magnetic anisotropy is impregnated. The magnetic layer arrangement comprises a predetermined magneto-restrictive behaviour, and is covered by a mechanically tensioned cover layer. The cover layer includes at least one extrusion, formed by producing a corresponding edge, so that mechanical tensions are formed in at least one edge section of the layer arrangement through structuring of the cover layer. The mechanical tensions act on the cover layer at least in a direction approximately vertical with respect to the edge.
