PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bushing for a cord capable of surely preventing infiltration of water liquid carried along the cord whose length is adjustable into a circuit housing unit, and to provide the circuit housing unit with the cord that uses the bushing. SOLUTION: This circuit housing unit includes the circuit housing unit 11, where required components including a proper electric circuit are housed in a casing 12; and the cord 15 that is retractably led out through the cord bushing 22 with a guide hole 23 communicatively connected to a hole 13 formed to the casing 12 and attached to the casing 12, and the cord bushing 22 is provided with an inner flock layer 33 with water-repelling performance to which electrostatic flocking of short fibers is applied, the length of the short fibers is equal to a length whereby the short fibers can be in contact with a counter face part of the cord 15 inserted to the inner face 26 of the guide hole 23 located at least in the vicinity of a tip 24 of the cord bushing 22, and corrosion of the required components in the casing 12 is prevented, by blocking the water liquid carried along the cord 15 from infiltrating the guide hole 23.
