#CMT# #/CMT# On a reel-changer (01) there are different levels with tread matting (TM) (03), which form a pit (04) underneath a swivel range for the reel-changer. At normal height, a working area (06) lies behind the reel-changer along with the height range (07) for a feed (02) for a reel of material. When weight is applied to the TM, the TM sends a STOP signal to a monitoring unit. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# For making dangerous areas safe on reel-changers, e.g. on printing machines. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The monitoring unit only releases movement in the reel-changer's reel-arm if there is no STOP signal. Sensors outside the swiveling range of the reel-arm display any penetration/ingress into a dangerous area by generating a further STOP signal. Likewise, operation of a reel-changer is stopped.
