An icemaker is provided to mount an ice sensing element at a lower part of an ice making tray to remove a space for the rotation of an ice sensing arm, thereby minimizing an installation space of the icemaker, and dispose the ice sensing arm not to be held by an upper end of an ice bank, thereby preventing the ice sensing arm and a gear part from being damaged by the ice bank. An icemaker includes an ice sensing arm(140) mounted at a lower part of an ice making tray and rotating by a cam assembly(150) to sense the full of ice in an ice bank. A first ice sensing element(170) senses a position of the cam assembly to sense that the ice bank is full of ice when the cam assembly operates. A second ice sensing element(180) senses whether the ice sensing arm is held by ice in the ice bank and not returned to an initial position thereof.
