PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of a medical image display device when the user operation for medical image data is repeated. SOLUTION: A CPU 10 applies an image inspection process to medical image data if the image inspection operation by a user for the medical image data is detected based on an operation signal from an input part 20. Then, the history data indicating the image inspection history are cumulatively stored in an image inspection history table 64. The CPU 10 transmits the inspected medical image data to a server of a PACS (a picture archiving and communication system) based on the user's operation. At the time, the success or failure of transmission is determined, and determination data indicating the result of determination are stored in the image inspection history table 64.
