<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve timing adjusting device having high durability. <P>SOLUTION: This valve timing adjusting device has a motor shaft 102 as an output shaft and a housing 100 as a support member for supporting the motor shaft 102, and has an electric motor 4 as a torque output means for outputting control torque from the motor shaft 102 and a planetary carrier 32 as an input shaft rotating together with the motor shaft 102, and is provided with a phase adjusting mechanism 8 adjusting a relative phase between a crankshaft and a camshaft 2 according to the control torque inputted to the planetary carrier 32, a screw member 124 as a fixing member having a shaft 120 forming a clearance and a head 122 having a diameter larger than the shaft 120, on the outer peripheral side by penetrating through the housing 100 in the axial direction and fixing the shaft 120 to an internal combustion engine on the opposite side of the head 122 by sandwiching the housing 100 in the axial direction, and an elastic member 140 sandwiched between the head 122 and the internal combustion engine together with the housing 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
