PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weight for a hole post for ground golf, and a hole post using that, in which the weight can be placed on a lower end part of a pole after the pole is installed. SOLUTION: The weight 19 is composed of a plurality of weight members 21 for forming a hole 20 for inserting the pole as they are complementarily combined with each other to surround the pole. The weight member 21 is provided with a pole inserting groove 23, a projecting part 24, and a receiving part 25. One weight member 21 is applied to a side surface of the pole, and the other weight member 21 is dropped from above along the pole till the projecting part 24 is engaged with the receiving part 25, so that the weight members 21 are joined with each other.
