PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the amount of access to a medium holding a content increases because the processing of reading (moving) data and simultaneously erasing (writing) a source file is required for preventing the same content from being left in a duplex manner when moving the content with copy control. SOLUTION: A video recording and reproducing device including a function of moving a recording content includes a storage part regularly storing a move position when executing the move and reproducing position correction part capable of performing correction such that reproduction is not allowed at the location subjected to the move on the basis of the move position information.
