PURPOSE: A hold release control device of a mobile terminal which uses a touch screen is provided to prevent the activation of a mobile terminal without intend of a user. CONSTITUTION: An RF receiving unit(200) downloads a hold release program. A pattern selection unit(400) selects one hold release program. A touch pattern driving unit(500) drives the selected hold release program. A hold release control unit(600) release a hold state of a mobile terminal if touch screen is inputted through a touch screen.
