PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a delay circuit, a semiconductor control circuit, a display device and electronic equipment in which a narrow frame and low power consumption can be achieved. SOLUTION: The delay circuit delays a signal by charging or discharging in two stages, and the circuit includes an output section for outputting a delay signal, two power supplies, and a delay inverter. The delay inverter includes, between the output section and one light source, first and second transistors Qp43, Qp44 of the same channel type for charging or discharging in the first time connected in series, and a third transistor Qn42 of a different channel type from the first and second transistors, for charging or discharging in the second time, connected in parallel to the first transistor or the second transistor.
