<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device capable of reduction of a sensible start time of the electronic device by transiting the electronic device to a hot standby state with start of another electronic device as a trigger. <P>SOLUTION: This electronic device connected to a home network for use is characterized by including: a network monitoring part judging whether to transit from a normal standby state to the hot standby state or not when receiving a power supply notification from the other electronic device connected to the home network in the normal standby state, and sending a hot standby state transition notification; and a power control part performing power supply control based on the hot standby state transition notification from the network monitoring part, and transiting a state of the electronic device from the normal standby state to the hot standby state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
