<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting and diameter expanding tool to be used in a pipe splitter construction method. <P>SOLUTION: A cutting part of the cutting and diameter expanding tool has a groove cutter provided in a guide side to form a groove like mark on an inner wall face of an existing pipe, and a pair of cutters provided in a cutting side and in a fore and aft of the groove cutter to cut the existing pipe along a towing direction. A diameter expanding part is provided in the rear of the cutting part and it is comprised of a member spreading open a cut portion by the cutter and using the groove like mark as a bending line. It is characterized by that a front connection part of the cutting diameter expanding tool and a towing member connected in the front, and a rear connection part of the front connection part and the cutting diameter expanding tool and a new pipe connected in the rear are connected such that the cutting diameter expanding tool mutually turns around axes mutually with respect to the towing member and the new pipe. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
