PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filtering device having a simple structure and including a backwash mechanism capable of effectively removing trapped substances at a small backwash fluid flow rate.SOLUTION: A filtering device includes: a casing 1 having a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet; filter elements 3a, 3b each installed in the casing, filtering fluid by making the fluid pass from the inner side to the outer side and having a backwash mechanism formed therein; and a backwash fluid discharge pipe 4. The backwash mechanism includes: a water collecting pipe 33; a backwash pipe 34 having one end opened and the other end closed, fitted to the outer side of the water collecting pipe to cover an opened end of the water collecting pipe and arranged axially movably; and a backwash head 35 mounted to the backwash pipe. The water collecting pipe and the backwash pipe movably hold the backwash head, form a discharge passage of the backwash fluid and open/close the discharge passage of the backwash fluid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
