PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide security and a common user experience across disparate devices.SOLUTION: The present invention includes a method for launching an application authentication policy (AAP) application on a computing device. If a user is authenticated by the AAP application, the device is enabled for use as a personal device of a user.
