PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium storage cassette effectively reducing spring noise of the rear end of a recording medium when feeding the recording medium, in a configuration in which a separation member is mounted on the cassette side, and to provide an image forming device including the same.SOLUTION: A recording medium storage cassette has: a housing; a recording medium stacking plate; a recording medium restriction part; and a pre-separation carrying guide. The recording medium restriction part has: a rising wall part formed in a chevron shape gently lowering toward both end parts from a maximum height region in the vicinity of a central part in a width direction of a recording medium; a pre-separation entry guide projecting above the pre-separation carrying guide obliquely upward to the downstream side in a paper feeding direction from the central part in the width direction of the recording medium of the rising wall part; and pre-separation entry guide slopes continuing to the pre-separation carrying guide from both the end parts in the width direction of the recording medium of the rising wall part, each having a rising gradient toward the paper feeding direction of the recording medium, and each having a falling gradient toward both the end parts in the width direction of the recording medium. |
